Chelsea graduated from the Registered Massage Therapy program at Vancouver Career College with honor.
She has worked in a variety of clinical settings and has participated in many community outreaches such as the BMO Vancouver Marathon, Lululemon SeaWheeze Half Marathon, and initiatives to help bring massage to underserved communities at Seton Villa Retirement Centre, BCIT, Positive Living BC and City Centre Care.
Over the course of these experiences, Chelsea has developed proficiency in a wide variety of massage techniques targeting pain relief, sports injuries, car accident injury, nervous system issues, pregnancy, and systemic conditions such as migraines, as well as increasing flexibility and general relaxation.
In order to meet a range of treatment goals for her patients, Chelsea deploys techniques such as Swedish massage, static pressure techniques, fascial or connective tissue stretching, joint mobilization, muscle energy techniques, trigger point release and remedial exercise.
With a curious, hard-working attitude, Chelsea continues to improve her skills in order to better serve her patients and provide a satisfying and effective massage experience.
