Rebecca Fowler, MPT
Rebecca loves to help others stay healthy and active, with a background in competitive ice dancing and experience working as an NCCP trained skating coach, she understands the physical and mental challenges that can come with sports and movement. She has a special interest in pain science, as well as the rehabilitation and recovery of foot and ankle injuries- having personally gone through multiple ankle surgeries herself.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioural Neuroscience from SFU as well as a Master of Physiotherapy from UBC. Since graduating, she has worked in diverse settings, including private practices and hospitals (VGH and UBC). Her hospital experience includes working with post-surgical hip and knee replacements, cardiac surgery, orthopedic trauma, as well as in the emergency department.
Her philosophy is to work closely with clients to develop goal-oriented, personalized treatment plans based on education, movement, and manual therapy. She is passionate about helping people get back to the things that are meaningful to them—whether that means being able to climb a mountain, or the stairs.
